NBC News Digital: CNBC
Head of Product 2019-2022
During my tenure at CNBC I was primarily focused on building out the NBC News Group’s subscription and direct to consumer offerings, the birth of new and diverse affiliate revenue products, the continued growth of the linear viewing experience, and the overall health of the broader CNBC digital portfolio. I began as the Director of Web Products in 2019, moving to Senior Director of Product in 2020 and assuming broader team responsibilities for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Roku, FireTV and voice. In 2021, as part of a wider cross-brand consolidation of product and technology within the NBC News Group, I became Head of Product for CNBC and NBC’s Direct To Consumer businesses.
During my time at CNBC I have overseen the launch, sustained growth, and continued innovation behind products such as CNBC Select and its evolution into NBC Select, as well as CNBC Pro, The CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer, MakeIt, Grow from Acorns and CNBC, and many more. Live events, editorial capability, cross-functional collaboration and subscription revenue has increased exponentially during my tenure, as has affiliate and digital advertising revenue. I have built new cross-functional teams from scratch, grown, nurtured, coached and promoted from within my own teams, and grown my portfolio from three teams responsible for CNBC.com in 2019 to nine teams in 2022 across web, mobile apps, subscriptions, operations and emerging platforms.
Below are outlines of my specific responsibilities across each of the three roles I held during my time at CNBC.
Head of Product
June 2021 - December 2022 | Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey
Leading all core and direct to consumer multi-brand product experiences and strategy for CNBC, delivering on the needs and aspirations of NBC News' business and investing audiences. My nine teams and I collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, business development, on-air broadcast, and other cross-functional colleagues to deliver on our customer and business outcomes.
My product managers and their cross-functional teams own product development, technical health and user innovation for CNBC.com, CNBC mobile apps (iOS & Android), OTT platforms (AppleTV, FireTV, Roku, Samsung, Google Home & Alexa), newsletters, and our subscription flagship products, CNBC Pro and The Investing Club with Jim Cramer. We also own product responsibilities for CNBC’s brands MakeIt, Grow (in partnership with Acorns), and Select Money. We drive new product discovery, user research and development, emerging commercial initiatives, cross-brand affiliate revenue objectives, and the overall health and growth of the digital business.
Senior Director of Product Management
March 2020 - June 2021 | Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey
As Senior Director of Product, I was responsible for 6 product teams, and manage a team of 5 product managers:
Web (Growth, Engagement & Monetization)
Mobile Apps (iOS & Android)
Emerging Platforms (Apple TV, FireTV, Roku, Alexa, Google Home)
As I previously did as Head of Web Products, I managed all aspects of budget, hiring, prioritization, goal setting and digital strategic alignment across the organization. I collaboratively defined, shaped and set the product direction for CNBC’s digital revenue, audience growth, technical health, user experience, team welfare and process management initiatives for all of CNBC’s digital products.
My teams during this period were primarily focused on building CNBC’s digital audience, subscription products, and affiliate revenue streams.
Director of Web Products
May 2019 - March 2019 | Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey
As Head of Web Products, I was responsible for the strategic revenue and audience growth, technical health, user experience, team welfare and process management initiatives for CNBC’s web products. I managed all aspects of budget, hiring, prioritization, goal setting and strategic alignment. Reaching over 100 million monthly users, our team’s mission is to help customers get informed when and where they need it, so they can act on their financial goals. I lead four product teams focused on:
Growth (Acquisition, AMP, SEO, Audience Scaling, Newsletters)
Engagement (Habituation, Retention, Homepage & Article Experience)
Monetization (Revenue Initiatives, Video Inventory, Advertising Partnerships, PrimeTime)
Special Projects (Affiliate Revenue, New Business Models, Alternative Revenue Streams)
In addition to building CNBC.com, our team’s portfolio also owns MakeIt, Grow from Acorns, The Warren Buffett Archive and Deal or No Deal.

2022 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting Live Stream
On Saturday April 30 2022, CNBC’s digital portfolio, across CNBC.com, iOS, Android, AppleTV, Roku and FireTV broadcast 8 hours of multi-language live coverage and analysis of the Annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders’ Meeting. The gathering of Warren Buffett’s portfolio and investors, and where he and Vice Chairman Charlie Munger lay out their insights, thoughts and perspectives on the current state of the markets, global economic headwinds, and positions of where to potentially head next.
A truly unified cross-functional effort across numerous teams within the organization, bringing together editorial, broadcast, product, design, engineering, operations, business development, on-air talent, customer experience and many more.
CNBC for Apple TV, Roku, FireTV & Samsung
CNBC’s emerging and streaming platforms across Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung and Voice Products such as Google Home and Amazon Alexa were part of my portfolio during my time at NBC News, experiencing exponential growth in both overall minutes consumed, and overall unique monthly viewers. Closely integrated into the CNBC subscription product bundle, they also became their own acquisition channel for new subscribers, while concurrently strongly supporting the existing needs of NBC’s cable subscribers’ appetite for watching the daily markets live broadcast. CNBC Pro in particular supported multiple regional live streams across the domestic US broadcast, as well as the live streams from CNBC Europe (London) and CNBC Asia (Singapore).
CNBC Select
CNBC’s first steps into building a digital affiliate revenue. A ground-up build over 10 weeks focused on delivering on the needs of prospective credit card applicants, which over the subsequent two years became a multi-million dollar business, ultimately evolving into a larger NBC-News-wide offering spanning wellness, technology, tools and a diverse range of financial services.
Working closely with our business development and editorial functions, I led a product team that not only launched the initial iteration of the service, but also cumulatively iterated on post-launch conversion optimization and feature development, as well as the eventual technical, positioning and front end consolidation with the wider NBC News product portfolio.
